An 9th grade ADHD

An 9th grade ADHD Algebra I student brought in a four-page quiz to tutoring, which had been graded by fellow students in an exchange of papers style!!! (Why is this teacher NOT interested in finding out exactly what her students do NOT understand, so she can re-teach weaknesses?) This teacher also violated ethics in that she called the students’ names out loud and the other person had to verbally report the scores! The teacher did NOT bother to work out or allow any questions about these problems that were missed (that is a missed “Teachable Moments”) – this is part of what we covered in tutoring. Just how lazy can this teacher become – all she did was record the quiz grades? This student’s mid-term Progress Report has him on the A – B Honor Roll.
